The whole process can be completed in less than five minutes. Q. How much does this service cost? A. There is no charge to the person sending the order. Appraisers pay a small monthly service charge (less that $7.00 per county) in order to be listed. This small fee is more than offset by the time saved in receiving fax orders, formatting them for the file, calling to clarify handwritten orders, etc. They can also access the orders from anyplace they are able to receive email (office, home, wireless, etc.). Appraisers will also receive additional business from homeowners, attorneys, accountants, and governmental agencies as well. There are no appraisers in the county in which I need an appraisal. What should I do? A .Go to the county, fill out the form and submit it. AppraisalOrder.Com will find an appraiser and call you with the name and number. Q. What is a PDF file? A. PDF stands for Portable Document Format. Digitally signed, complete appraisal reports (including all photograph, maps, etc.) can be printed to a PDF format, which can be secured against alteration, and sent as an email attachment. This is an original appraisal report. Once you have it downloaded on your computer, you can print as many originals as you need, forward them over the internet to your underwriter, and save them for archival purposes. Because a delivered hardcopy is no longer required from the appraiser, you can expect to receive your requested appraisal one or two days earlier.
